On my travels I like to carry a small art kit.

I do sketches and paintings on location to capture the feel,

       mood and spirit of a place, a moment in time.

This way I get a feel forcolour, light and composition.

They are a "travel diary". Ill often base a larger studio work on these. I like to work in gouache on heavy Arches paper.
